Principal Constractor and CDM
We have extensive experience as principal or main contractor, successfully managing projects under CDM Regulations.
Such duties can range from the assessment of the Construction Phase Health & Safety Plan at tender stage, to ensuring adequate provisions for any specific Health & Safety issues relating to the contract.
On award of the contract we develop Method Statements and Risk Assessments to cover all scheduled activities. These are submitted to the client CDM Coordinator for comment and/or approval. Once on site, we then conduct induction training for the workforce, incorporating reporting, performance and monitoring procedures.
